Treatment of Warts & Verruca’s

Cork Homeopathy Practice – Treatment of Warts and Verruca’s

If you ever had a verruca, you know how frustrating it is to get rid of these warts. I have had quite a few excellent responses in the Cork Homeopathy Practice with homeopathic treatment of verruca’s.

Warts are mostly caused by infection with a virus known as the human papilloma virus (HPV). HPV causes keratin, a hard protein in the top layer of the skin (the epidermis) to grow too much. This produces the rough, hard texture of warts.

People who have an increased risk of developing warts include those with weak immune systems & the immune system is the body’s defense system. A strong immune system helps to protect the body from disease, bacteria and viruses.

The aim of holistic treatment is to remove the wart without it returning, treat the wart without any scarring developing as a result and to strengthen a long-lasting immunity to HPV, which causes warts.

Allopathic treatment for warts is often very effective, however there is no guarantee that the warts will not return and very often HPV virus remains in the body.  Allopathic Treatment for warts includes: salicylic acid, cryotherapy, duct tape, surgery and chemical treatments.

Homeopathic medicines are useful for treating people’s individualised symptoms. I have had patients respond well to homeopathic treatment of warts by administering a remedy based on their individual set of symptoms.

The main homeopathic remedies for warts & verruca’s:  Thuja, Causticum, Nitricum acidum, Dulcamara, Medorinum, Antimonium Cuprum ,Anacardium, Silica etc.

The choice and selection of the right remedy depends on appearance of warts, location of warts and many other symptoms.

Beside remedies for warts treatment I use sometimes Thuja mother tincture, Tea tree oil, Propolis tincture & Echinacea. Propolis is also successful in the form of topical creams and ointments, and it is effective treatment of genital herpes and genital warts treatment.

Short Presentation of Case of Verruca vulgaris – Cork Homeopathy Practice

A 9 year old girl presented with a 7 month history of Verruca vulgaris on her right sole. Verruca appeared during the summer holidays. Her past medical history -she was a healthy girl but with a history of chest infections and eczema at age of 1-2 years. Over the period of 3 months during her treatment in Cork Homeopathy Practice she received a weekly dose of the homeopathic remedy Thuja 30c. The lesion had failed to respond to the topical solution of Thuja tincture with only some minor improvement over a period of 2 months.  Then I introduced propolis tincture and she received orally 5 drops of propolis tincture twice per day. Also propolis tincture was applied with cotton wool on verruca twice per day. Eventually the verruca just fell of, she was cured and the lesions were completely healed after 3 months of treatment.
